Part two of Marvel's Spider-Man video game series was developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Released in 2023, the game received both critical and fan acclaim; it showcased Peter Parker's struggle in balancing the responsibilities of real life and heroism -- especially when Venom and the black suit begin to tempt Peter. It also follows Miles Morales' heroic transformation into a fully realized Spider-Man.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 sold over 2.5 million units in the first 24 hours of release making it the fastest-selling PlayStation Studios game. As of February 2024, the game has sold over ten million units.
